| Hello , Happy Mother's Day to those who celebrate! As a three-time cancer survivor, I'm grateful to celebrate another Mother's Day with my sons, Max and Adam. Four years ago, Awe partnered with CancerCare, an awesome organization that provides Counseling, Case Management Support, Education and Financial Assistance to anyone diagnosed with cancer. Many organizations provide funds for research and medical trials, but CancerCare provides funds for the everyday needs, such as books so you can get back to school, rides to and from treatment, auto repairs, dog walkers, food, medication. The thing I love most about CancerCare is the financial assistance they provide for the everyday needs people have that often get overlooked. They have a wonderful summer camp and even a program called PAW: Pet Assistance & Wellness, to help care for your pets when going through treatment. I've been very fortunate to have had loving support from my family and friends, as well as excellent healthcare, which made my cancer journeys easier to navigate than most.
